Sometimes travel or other circumstances can temporarily separate us from our pets and we’re unable to watch or take care of them personally. That’s when you want a reputable, dependable, compassionate boarding option. O’Neal Lane Pet Hospital offers a safe alternative to leaving your pet at home alone, or in the hands of well-meaning friends or neighbors who might not have the time and resources to care for them properly.

O’Neal Lane Pet Hospital can provide your pet with meals, clean and appropriate-sized kennels, activities, and interaction – all to make your pet feel loved, safe, and cared for in your absence.

Additionally, boarding your pet at O’Neal Lane Pet Hospital assures immediate access to quality medical care should a health crisis arise.

There are a few guidelines in place to protect all of the pets in boarding care. Make sure that before boarding your pet, their immunizations are up-to-date. If not, please make an appointment with your O’Neal Lane Pet Hospital veterinarian for any necessary vaccines. The standard immunizations we require for canines are rabies, canine distemper virus, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza virus, canine parvovirus, leptospirosis, and bordetella (kennel cough). Cats must also be immunized against rabies, as well as feline rhinotracheitis virus, calicivirus, and panleukopenia virus. Other pets might need more specific vaccines as well – contact O’Neal Lane Pet Hospital for a complete list for other pets.

Your pet must also be free of fleas and ticks. Any animals with fleas or ticks will be treated for those parasites at the owner's expense. Please remember your pet’s medications and any special dietary items. And of course, any special toys or comfort items like favorite blankets are welcome to help make your pet feel at home.
